Our Cause

Turiya has big plans over the coming years. Here are some of the projects we are working on currently.

– A Natural Building School, the first of its kind in Panama. This project aims to preserve Panamanian natural building techniques as well as introduce other global techniques that improve the durability and safety of mud homes. The Panamanian Casa de Quincha has mostly disappeared, with more homes being torn down every year and replaced with concrete. This school hopes to encourage their preservation as well as educate others on the sustainability, affordability, and health benefits of mud homes. See our Workshops here!

-A K-12 School based on Nature, Creativity, Consciousness of Self and Others, and Service. This project will hit the ground running in 2026. We hope to build a school set in nature that inspires children and parents and nurtures a genuine sense of community, giving, and play.

– An Organic, Permaculture Farm to educate locals and visitors on how to build abundance without the use of pesticides or chemical additives. Pesticides and slash-and-burn farming are the protocol here. We hope to change this!

– An Ecological Collaboration Center, to serve as a hub for highlighting organic farmers, supporting local eco-friendly projects like Eco-Brick collection and reforestation.

100% of proceeds will go towards these environmental and wellness projects, as well as keeping our isolated Indigenous community employed. We thank you in advance for your generous support!
